			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Youve heard that the amount of fiber in your diet is an important part of your daily routine.  But is their a relationship between our daily amount of fiber and cellulite on our bodies?   </p>
<p>Research has shown that fiber and cellulite do have a connection to one another.  Fiber is an important part of our meals.  Without enough fiber, the body often does not feel full and satisfied.  This causes over eating which can lead to weight gain and low energy levels.  </p>
<p>Fiber comes in two main forms &#8221; soluble and insoluble.  The insoluble fiber moves through the digestive track and acts as a vacuum cleaner as it goes.  It cleans out waste products left over from the meal you just ate.  The more waste that is cleared out of the body, the less waste the body is forced to store in the cells.  Cellulite often occurs because of extra toxins and waste products left in the body.</p>
<p>Soluble fiber moves into a gel like substance and it is responsible for lowering cholesterol or fat and plaque in the blood vessels.  This is important for not only heart health but the health of your skin as well. Good circulation improves not only the performance of your heart (which can help prevent a heart attack) but it can also help to improve the appearance of your skin cells.  </p>
<p>Both types of fiber are an important part of your diet.  Doctors state that we consume 25 to 30 grams of fiber daily.  However with the high amount of processed foods found in many diets, most of us only get 5 to 10 grams of fiber per day.  The results of not getting enough fiber are seen everyday in America:  obesity, heart problems, diabetes and a host of other diseases.  In addition other areas of the body can be affected as well such as the skin.</p>

<p>A cause of emotional stress is often cellulite.  This is especially true in women since women are much more likely to get cellulite than men. Cellulite is basically accumulated fat under certain spots of the body, such as the thighs, the hips, and the belly. Needless to say, such problems are difficult to hide with clothing, and can be a source of embarrassment.</p>
<p>Cellulite is caused by many things including:</p>
<p>#1 &#8221; Heredity. Cellulite is one of those things that gets passed down from generation to generation. You are more likely to get cellulite if your parents and grandparents also suffered from it.  It&#8217;s an unfortunate skin problem that many people deal with on a daily basis.</p>
<p>If you have an older relative who successfully got rid of their cellulite problem, then don&#8217;t hesitate to ask them how they did it. It&#8217;s likely that what worked for them will work for you &#8221; after all, some things might work better for some people than others!</p>
<p>#2 &#8221; Medication. Some forms of medication can trigger hormonal changes in the body.  These changes can accelerate the accumulation of fat in the body. Such medications include birth control pills, diet pills, and sleeping pills. It&#8217;s always a good idea to check with your doctor before taking any medications.  This is especially important if your family has a history of cellulite.</p>
<p>#3 &#8221; Smoking. Cellulite is a condition that&#8217;s affected not only by the buildup of fat under the skin, but also by the condition of the skin itself. Smoking doesn&#8217;t only cause lung cancer and heart problems &#8221; it also weakens the skin and thus making cellulite look even worse.  It&#8217;s never a good idea to smoke.  Poor skin with cellulite is just another reason to kick the habit soon.</p>
<p>#4 &#8221; Bad eating habits. Eating too much junk and fast food as well as drinking too much caffeine and alcohol is one of the most prominent causes of cellulite. It&#8217;s not unusual to see kids as young as 14 with cellulite these days, mainly because good eating habits aren&#8217;t taught well enough at home and school. Unfortunately, there are other problems caused by bad eating habits &#8221; these include things such as obesity, migraines, vertigo, impotence, and hypertension.</p>
<p>The best diet to counter cellulite contains much less junk food including fried food, fast food, processed food &#8221; and more of the good stuff. Green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits are always good. But you don&#8217;t have to swear off the bad stuff altogether &#8221; you can still have them every now and then. Just remember to balance it with good food and exercise every week.</p>
<p>#5 &#8221; Bad drinking habits. Believe it or not, the amount of water you consume can also affect cellulite. Water is needed by the body to flush toxins out of the body regularly.  Some toxins are the leading triggers of cellulite. If you don&#8217;t drink enough water in a day, too many toxins will be left in the body, and cellulite buildup will be inevitable.</p>
<p>In order to keep your skin hydrated, you need to consume at least 8 glasses of water each day.   Water will also keep your skin from drying, improving the overall appearance of even your fatty bulges. Fruit juice is also okay, but be careful &#8221; some brands of fruit juice have the same amount (sometimes even more) of calories as soda.  Fruit juice is also loaded with sugar which can lead to excess fat build up on your body.  </p>
<p>Now that you know about the most common cellulite causes and how to address them, the next thing you need to remember is to start slow. Healthy habits can be hard to stick to, but practice makes perfect!  Eventually you will see healthier skin!</p>

<p>A good way to reduce the appearance of cellulite is through proper diet. Limiting your salt intake can play a role in reducing the appearance of cellulite. By reducing fat and salt in your diet and increasing the amount of water you drink, you may find a way to reduce cellulite.</p>
<p>Many women that get cellulite are often predisposed to the condition.  However the condition can be worsened through poor lifestyle choices.  Cellulite can start to appear when the skin starts to lose its elasticity.  For permanent reduction of cellulite symptoms, a lifestyle change might be necessary.  Dietary changes can help improve the appearance of the skin and give you more energy as well.  </p>
<p>Most people know that salt causes fluid retention. However you may not have realized that fluid retention can increase the appearance of cellulite.  When your salt intake is high, the areas of cellulite will swell and be more noticeable because of the retention of fluid.  Some foods that have high sodium/salt content are easy to identify. These include processed and packaged foods such as potato chips, pickles, soy sauce, and processed meats such as cold cuts.  </p>
<p>It&#8217;s usually a good idea to check the Nutritional Information box on any food product you buy.  This way you can check the amount of sodium in the food you are eating.  Salt will be listed as sodium and will be measured by portion size. By becoming more aware of the salt contained in the foods you eat, you can gradually start to improve the appearance of your skin.</p>
<p>A reduction of cellulite in the body can be obtained over time with a low sodium, low fat diet, exercise and a healthy lifestyle. So remove that salt shaker from the table. When cooking, reduce the amount of salt that a recipe calls for. If the recipe calls for a teaspoon of salt, reduce that to one half teaspoon.  Most of the time you won&#8217;t notice the difference!</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re having trouble reducing the amount of salt in your diet, it might be a good idea to invest in a book that lists the sodium content of most common foods. By making an effort to learn more about the foods you eat, you can stick with healthier choices.  You will eventually get used to food being less salty. Most foods found in nature are low in sodium to begin with. Fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables have very little sodium. But those two slices of sausage pizza you had at lunch used up about 88% of your recommended daily allowance of salt.</p>
<p>The recommended daily allowance for sodium is around 2,400 milligrams. While this sounds like a lot, it can be easy to exceed this limit within one meal. If you are serious about reducing the appearance of cellulite on your skin, then a change in diet can be helpful. There is no need to starve yourself. Just make an attempt to pick healthier foods. Lower salt intake and increase consumption of water. Dont forget to reduce fat intake as well. </p>

<p>I definitely enjoy my diary products, but I have often wondered &#8221; does milk cause cellulite?  Is it possible to improve the appearance of your skin simply by making a dietary change?</p>
<p>Lots of people have often wondered &#8221; does milk cause cellulite?  While some of us would not enjoy giving up our daily dairy products, others might find this to be worth a shot if it means no more cellulite!</p>
<p>One of the biggest controversies surrounding milk is the amount of hormones contained in milk.  These hormones are mainly from the hormones given to the cows to enable them to produce more milk.  Many feel that these extra hormones can do damage to our bodies when we regularly ingest them.  </p>
<p>Since cellulite responds to hormonal changes with in the body, it would make sense that an increase in hormones would trigger an increase in the amount of cellulite found on the skin.  Some studies have shown that a reduction of cellulite was found in women who stopped using diary products.  It took about 6 to 12 months for these women to notice a difference in their skin.  </p>
<p>For many women who are desperate to get rid of their cellulite and have tried many different products in the past with no success, a simple diet change may be the solution they are looking for.  This can be hard however.  Diary products are found in many foods we eat &#8221; just try eating something that doesnt contain cheese!  </p>
<p>A an easy way to get around using regular cows milk is to use goats milk.  Goats milk doesnt usually have the hormones found in regular cows milk.  Be careful with yogurt too as yogurt is made from cow&#8217;s milk and can contain hormones that are harmful.  </p>
<p>Some people may feel that there is no true answer to the question does milk cause cellulite.  Many feel that this topic has not been studied extensively.  This leads them to feel that no scientific conclusion can be drawn as to whether or not milk leads to cellulite.  While this point is valid, it should not be used to dissuade those who are interested in eliminating diary from their diets in order to obtain better health.</p>
<p>Not only are women asking does milk cause cellulite, but many are wondering if milk products are the source of some of their other problems as well.  These can include things such as digestive issues, weight gain and acne.  Going off diary products may be helpful for many reasons, not just cellulite.  </p>
<p>In conclusion, only you can decide if milk really does impact your cellulite.  If you decide to stay away from diary products, make sure you give yourself enough time to notice results. A week or so probably will not cut it as our bodies are often slow to change.  You will most likely need to dedicate 6 months to a year towards this project.  While after this amount of time you may not find any results with your cellulite, you may notice that you do not crave or tolerate milk products any longer.</p>

<p>Menopause is a challenging time of transition from the reproductive years to the post-childbearing years for many women. A woman&#8217;s body stops causing egg follicles to mature every month and female hormones naturally decline when menopause occurs.</p>
<p>Regrettably, menopause may be very difficult for some women because it is often uncomfortable symptoms. These can include hot flashes, insomnia, night sweats, mood swings, vaginal dryness, loss of interest in sex, and irritability. Another frequent consequence of menopause is unexpected weight gain.</p>
<p>Even women who don&#8217;t change their eating and exercise habits during menopause may experience weight gain. This can be frustrating, prompting women to wonder what caused this sudden and unexpected weight gain. Weight gain can also be a result of hormonally triggered overeating. Another cause of weight gain is the natural metabolic slow-down that happens as people age. When a woman&#8217;s metabolic rate slows during menopause, any extra calories ingested have a far greater effect than they did pre-menpausal.</p>

<p>Apart from the bothersome symptoms of menopause, weight gain is very common during this time in a woman&#8217;s life. This weight gain is often unexpected, and happens even in women who haven&#8217;t made any dietary changes or reduced their activity level.</p>
<p>As you might imagine, there are a lot of weight loss products aimed at menopausal women. But are these products really worth it? Let&#8217;s take a look into a variety of products and their strengths and weaknesses, the mechanism for weight gain during menopause, as well as risks related to overweight in the menopause.</p>
<p>There are number of reasons for weight gain during menopause. One is slowed and inefficient digestion that is a consequence of getting older. This keeps food in the digestive tract longer, ensuring that you absorb more nutrients, including fat and calories, from your food.</p>
<p>Menopause causes hormonal changes including lower estrogen levels, which can lead to weight gain.
