<p>If you haven&#8217;t heard what love handle is, it is simply the accumulated fat around your waist. This is usually the result of too much food and beer.  Other names used are waist fats, belly fats, and waist tires.  Whatever you call it, it&#8217;s those flabby looking rolls around your waist caused by excessive fats.  If have them, then you should start getting into a love handle workout to get rid of them.</p>
<p>Your waist section is the common place to accumulate fats.  Not only that, it&#8217;s the last batch of fats that leave your system and the most difficult to burn.  If this is not attended, this will develop into ugly looking rolls.  The love handle workout is the best approach and solution.  It strikes straight into building abdominal muscles.</p>
<p>Various exercises are recommended for the abdomen.  But the most effective ones are those that work for the rectus abdominis and the oblique muscle sections.  When completely developed, rectus abdominis is also the commonly termed six-pack abs.  The oblique muscles are the waist areas and they differ between men and women.  Five of the best and effective exercises are listed below:</p>
<p>- Bicycle Exercise.  This is done by positioning yourself lying face up on the floor, with your hands beside your head.  You raise your left knee halfway touching your right elbow and arching your back slightly forward.  Then you do the same with the other knee and elbow.  This love handle workout movement creates a pedaling motion similar to when riding a bicycle.</p>
<p>- Captain&#8217;s Chair.  This is another popular and effective exercise you should include when doing the love handle workout.  There may be several ways to do this but the basic objective is to build muscles around the oblique sections.  You let your body dangle while being supported by your arms.  Work kicks in when you start slow and repetitive lifting of your knees toward your chest.</p>
<p>- Ball Crunch Exercise.  You need a large rubber ball that looks like a balloon and about the size of your average hug.  This love handle workout is unique because you let your body rest over the exercise ball instead of the floor.  Work begins by pacing your feet flat on the floor while doing the crunch.  This exercise works better with the rectus than the oblique.</p>
<p>- The Vertical Leg Crunch Exercise.  This workout looks somewhat similar to the leg raise.  Except that your legs are always held up.  Your abs muscles contract by lifting your shoulder blades up and lower it back to the floor.  This love handle workout is equally good for both abdominal muscles.</p>
<p>- The Torso Track.  Although this exercise is equally effective, it must be done carefully.  Otherwise it will break your back.  You need an equipment for this and if you buy one, there should be instructions on how to use it correctly.  This type of exercise favors more in working for the rectus.</p>
<p>Needless to say, these love handle workout techniques won&#8217;t work if you don&#8217;t do them regularly.  Good nutrition and balanced diet must be in your list too.  It is a must that once you get into this habit, it should be part of your lifestyle.  Getting the right abdominal muscles will not only make you feel healthy but also improve your look and that level of self-esteem and confidence.  Best results happen when done regularly and with the correct repetitions.  And most importantly, while working out, breathe correctly.</p>

<p>If you haven&#8217;t heard what love handle is, it is simply the accumulated fat around your waist. This is usually the result of too much food and beer.  Other names used are waist fats, belly fats, and waist tires.  Whatever you call it, it&#8217;s those flabby looking rolls around your waist caused by excessive fats.  If have them, then you should start getting into a love handle workout to get rid of them.</p>
<p>Fats generally accumulate around the waist area.  Not only that, it&#8217;s the last batch of fats that leave your system and the most difficult to burn.  If this is not attended, this will develop into ugly looking rolls.  The love handle workout is the best approach and solution.  It strikes straight into building abdominal muscles.</p>
<p>Various exercises are recommended for the abdomen.  But the most effective ones are those that work for the rectus abdominis and the oblique muscle sections.  When completely developed, rectus abdominis is also the commonly termed six-pack abs.  The oblique muscles are the waist areas and they differ between men and women.  Five of the best and effective exercises are listed below:</p>
<p>- Bicycle Exercise.  Lie yourself on the floor, facing up and with your hands beside your head.  You raise your left knee halfway touching your right elbow and arching your back slightly forward.  Then you do the same with the other knee and elbow.  This love handle workout movement creates a pedaling motion similar to when riding a bicycle.</p>
<p>- Captain&#8217;s Chair.  Here is another common exercise for the love handle.  There may be several ways to do this but the basic objective is to build muscles around the oblique sections.  You let your body dangle while being supported by your arms.  Work kicks in when you start slow and repetitive lifting of your knees toward your chest.</p>
<p>- The Exercise Ball Crunch.  You need a large rubber ball that looks like a balloon and about the size of your average hug.  This love handle workout is unique because you let your body rest over the exercise ball instead of the floor.  Work begins by pacing your feet flat on the floor while doing the crunch.  This exercise works better with the rectus than the oblique.</p>
<p>- Vertical Leg Crunch.  This workout looks somewhat similar to the leg raise.  Except that your legs are always held up.  Your abs muscles contract by lifting your shoulder blades up and lower it back to the floor.  This love handle workout is equally good for both abdominal muscles.</p>
<p>- The Torso Track.  Although this exercise is equally effective, it must be done carefully.  Otherwise it will break your back.  You need an equipment for this and if you buy one, there should be instructions on how to use it correctly.  This type of exercise favors more in working for the rectus.</p>
<p>These love handle workout techniques will be effective when done regularly over some period of time.  Good nutrition and balanced diet must be in your list too.  It is a must that once you get into this habit, it should be part of your lifestyle.  Getting the right abdominal muscles will not only make you feel healthy but also improve your look and that level of self-esteem and confidence.  Best results happen when done regularly and with the correct repetitions.  And most importantly, while working out, breathe correctly.</p>

From medications and useless low fat meal replacements to tiny magnetic devices, each aimed at the same thing: body fat. Getting rid of unwanted pounds from our bodies either by burning it off with exercise or by taking it out of our diets. The body actually needs fat for its processes, and needs fat consumption in order to stay healthy.</p>
<p>It is important that we realize that fat is actually good for us when it&#8217;s eaten in moderation, even while we are trying to burn fat from our bodies. Fat cells are an important part of hormone regulation, providing a cushion for internal organs and storing energy in the body. The problem is what type of fat you eat and how much of it. Not all fat is bad, and once you&#8217;ve discovered this fact you can start losing weight safely.</p>
<p>There are two types of fats that you can eat. There are good, healthy fats, and there are bad fats. Bad fats are trans fats and saturated fats while the healthy ones are polyunsaturated and mono-unsaturated fats. The former we need to avoid while the latter is an essential part of a balanced diet. The body is unable to manufacture its things like omega 3 fatty acids that are essential to the human body. This means that we must consume them.</p>
<p>In order to get the good fat the body needs you should know what foods contain them. Examples of good fat foods are nuts, avocados, sunflower seeds and fish oil.</p>
<p>Deep fried foods and all junk food contains the fats that we should avoid. When we eat high levels of saturated or trans fats we can run into health problems. Examples would look something like eggs, cheese, French fries and potato chips.</p>
<p>You can cause a lot of harm to your body by eating trans fats as they decrease the good cholesterol besides increasing bad cholesterol in your body. Stored fat on your body is from the consumption of too many bad fats.</p>
<p>Fat storage adds weight to your midsection and also has an overall adverse impact on your health. Besides having high cholesterol you are prone to the risk of having diabetes, stroke and heart attack. The simple solution is to change the fats you consume to good fats, and exercise more often. This will reduce your risk of these as well as additional health problems, and you also start burning the excess fat from your body.</p>

<p>You have heard it time and again that drinking too much can make you overweight. Well, those who say that don&#8217;t tell you the complete truth. As a matter of fact, there are two types of drinks: healthy and unhealthy. Unhealthy drinks such as alcohol, soda, fizzy drinks, processed fruit juice packages, etc., can make you overweight.</p>
<p>On the other hand, there are certain healthy drinks which can actually help you burn fat and lose weight! The major advantage of these drinks that they are completely natural and 100% safe to take! In this article I am going to tell you about those two drinks!</p>
<p>Now before I mention those two &#8216;weight loss drinks&#8217;, I want to make sure that you are aware of two basic principles of weight loss:</p>
<p><b>1. You cannot expect to lose weight by fasting</b></p>
<p>Fasting for religious reasons is alright, but if you are fasting in the hope of quick weight loss, then you are going in the wrong direction. Fasting serves no purpose; even if you lose a few pounds in the beginning, that &#8216;weight loss&#8217; would be short-lived.</p>
<p>When your break your fast, and start eating normally (and trust me, this time you will eat more than your usual diet), you will be back to square one! So make sure that you eat healthy meals which contain a considerable portion of carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins, minerals, etc. Don&#8217;t skip either of these essential components or you will be sorry.</p>
<p>2. The second thing to note is that if you hate exercises and still want to lose weight fast, you better stop reading now! I don&#8217;t want to lie to you by saying that you can lose weight without the help of workouts. While you don&#8217;t need to do strenuous or rigorous workouts for the purpose of weight loss, you NEED to workout regularly. Even simple cardios can help you burn fat and lose weight. If you do nothing else, at least try to walk a few miles every day.</p>
<p><b>Okay, now on to the drinks</b></p>
<p><b>1. Green tea</b></p>
<p>I am sure green tea needs no introduction. If you have purchased any number of dietary supplements, most of them would contain green tea in some proportion. Daily intake of one cup of green tea will skyrocket your metabolic rate, which in turn will help you burn fat and lose weight.</p>
<p>While you can drink green tea in &#8216;raw form&#8217;, I usually prefer to mix a bit of honey and lemon juice with it and believe me, it tastes so great that I have gotten addicted to it.</p>
<p><b>2. Apple Cider Vinegar</b></p>
<p>Apple Cider Vinegar is only second in importance to green tea as far as weight loss is concerned, but unfortunately, unlike green tea, it tastes awful. But it is really a helpful drink for those who want to lose weight quickly.</p>
<p>Can you tell me what is it that forces you to quit one diet after another? Obviously, it is hunger! When you want to lose weight, you need to reduce your food intake. This triggers hunger pangs, which are sometimes so unbearable that we end up eating too much at a time.</p>
<p>Apple Cider Vinegar suppresses your appetite by tricking your brain into believing that you are full even when you are not! Unlike prescription drugs, it doesn&#8217;t have any dangerous side effects.</p>

<p>Many of my clients have seen the Firm&#8217;s Wave Personal Gym and have asked me to review it. They know I have a similar piece of kit called the TBow and thought I would be the ideal person to advise them on the Wave. I was curious to see if the Wave was any good for the average at home exerciser.</p>
<p>The T-Bow and the wave are both curved to enable them to be used curved side up or down. If placed curved side down it&#8217;s unstable and you can rock on it. If placed the other way you can stand on it and use it like a step. This way you can use it to step up and down (a normal step), enhance your stretching routine, with a cheap exercise band add many strength training exercises and by using only your body weight you can so exercises like press-ups, squats and lunges.</p>
<p>When you turn the Wave over so that the curved surface is down you end up with an unstable surface. With your feet on either side of the Wave it can be challenging to stay upright on it never mind move. This way up you can rock from side to side for a fantastic fat burning workout, walk on the Wave to help tone thighs and buns, increase core and abdominal strength and you can add a resistance band to super charge your workout.</p>
<p>One of the Wave&#8217;s claim to fame is that it can burn three times as much fat as other pieces of cardio equipment. Hmm three times as much I can&#8217;t say but it will give you one of the hardest and most challenging cardio workouts you&#8217;ve ever had. As a beginner I would expect you to be sweating and breathless in less than 5 minutes.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s possible to do over 100 separate fat burning and toning exercises using the Wave. You can strength train and sculpt those long lean muscles you&#8217;ve always dreamed of. When you consider it comes bundled with 4 DVD&#8217;s, an exercise mat, The Wave and a healthy eating guide all for less than $100. I was impressed with the wave and it compared well with the TBow. It&#8217;s not gym quality but for home use should be OK.</p>
<p>Many people like you will see this as another exercise gimmick. Let me assure you it&#8217;s not. It will do exactly what the Firm claims. The only way it won&#8217;t work for you will be if you don&#8217;t use it. But then that would apply to any other piece of home exercise equipment as well. The Wave is small, easy to store, has no complicated controls and can be set up in seconds, you just stand on it!</p>
